Vacant townhouse styling - SOLD at first OPEN!

August 24, 2018

If you've ever wondered why you should invest in a Home Stager when it comes time to sell your home, then listen in.

I was initially contacted by a savvy, young investor from Brisbane who was well aware of the benefits of staging her vacant Coffs Harbour townhouse. She herself had lived in the unit for many years as a young couple with her partner before moving interstate. Ready to complete some renovations in their own big city home, she contacted Sapphire Living Interiors to help.

Upon initial consult, it was evident the owner had put time and effort into maintaining the property well with new carpet, paint and blinds. Yet, it still presented as soulless and cold without furnishings. Many people struggle to visualise how they may be able to live in a space, how it would feel, what will fit and where to put everything so it is our job to show them.

We introduced modern, light and bright furnishings and accessories with lots of colour and texture to warm up the space. Rugs helped zone the spaces in the open plan living and dining. Coastal touches were used to connect to the lifestyle the property to had to offer with the beach approximately 1km away.

Valuation of the property increased upon styling and the day the property was released online, the buyer made contact. After one open house, the property sold for the full, new asking price. According to Domain, the average time on the market for a 2 bedroom unit in Coffs Harbour is 75 days. This professionally styled 2 bedroom townhouse sold immediately!

Our client was extremely happy and made a 400% return on her investment in engaging our staging services.

Happy client + Happy agent = Happy stylist and of course a buyer who can now see the potential of the property.
